ClickBook 2.0 for Macintosh OS 6,7,8,9
Q: Why are the EPS graphics not printing correctly? A: ClickBook cannot print EPS graphics when a
postscript printer is selected. EPS graphics are
not sent to the printer in a way that ClickBook
can intercept them, so they cannot get captured
in the ClickBook spool file. The workaround is to
convert the graphic to another format.

Q: Why cant I use ClickBook with Adobe PageMaker to
print to a LaserWriter 8? A: ClickBook will not work with PageMaker if you are
printing with a LaserWriter 8 print driver. This
is because PageMaker uses non-standard print
methods to communicate with the driver. The only
workaround is to install and use the LaserWriter
7 driver. You also need to select the ClickBook
Always Active option in the ClickBook Setup
Control Panel. Top
Q: Is ClickBook GX compatible? A: No. If you are using a GX application and you
have GX print drivers loaded, you must turn off
the GX extension in the Mac extensions manager
and restart the Mac. You may also need to install
a non-GX driver if you have not already done so.

Q: I'm using Mac OS 9.1 or 9.2 or Classic Mode and getting an error stating the ClickBook control panel is damaged. A: Unfortunately, the changes from OS 9.0 to 9.1
have made ClickBooks control panel incompatible.
Since this control panel is vital to ClickBooks
operation on the Mac OS, ClickBook will not work
on OS 9.1.
There is a workaround for this issue. If you install ClickBook on an OS Prior to 9.1 you can copy the Control Panel over to 9.1 and ClickBook will function properly. ClickBook will not work on OS X.
You can use the control panel from 9.0 or earlier and it will work. We have included it here for you to download and copy to your control panel.
