Spam Sleuth version 4.0 for Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003
Q: Where did the Bad Word list come from and can I
change it? A: It was created by looking at common words and
phrases in spam, and collected from our 1400+
beta testers as they found additional words and
phrases that commonly occur in spam, but rarely
occur in non-spam e-mails.
Yes, you can increase or decrease the points, or
delete them altogether. Because of the
Intellimingle(tm) technology, we can update the
Bad Words list with additional words, but ones
you have changed will stay changed.

Q: I put words in the BadWords, but they are showing
up in the message and aren't being scored. Why? A: The spammers are using tricks to deceive spam
filters. They are inserting comments (which
don't get shown) in the middle of words.
We can detect their deception.
