ClickBook for Windows (All)
Q:  How does ClickBook work?
A:
ClickBook works by intercepting standard-size pages on the way to your printer from virtually any Windows program that prints.

ClickBook takes the pages, shrinks them down, and rearranges them to print out as a double-sided booklet.

Create your documents as you normally do in whatever Windows programs you like. When youre ready to print, select the "ClickBook Printer" that was installed during ClickBooks setup, just as you would choose another printer. ClickBook will intercept the pages before they reach your printer, shrink them down to fit the page size of the booklet you choose, and rearrange them to print out as a double-sided booklet.

Choose from 100+ styles of booklets, brochures, greeting cards, wallet books, or business cards. ClickBook even prints out an instruction sheet with an arrow showing exactly how to reinsert the paper for second-side printing.

Q:  What is ClickBook?
A:  In the simplest description possible, ClickBook is a program that lets you turn normal documents into booklets of any size, as well as greetings cards, CD jewel case covers, day planner pages, etc.

ClickBook is the most powerful booklet making program out there that offers a simple to use interface, as well as compatibility with all ink jet and laser printers.

It offers a flexible range of sizes. You can make booklets so small (and legible) as it would require a magnifying glass to read, all by simply printing out a regular document from any application to ClickBook.

The most popular choice is a book that is a folded piece of standard letter size paper, but many other book sizes are available.

Q:  I have 2 questions, please, both involve printing a cover.
1) How can I enlarge the picture using clickbook to encompass more of the page? Changing those dimensions under Layout never works.
and
2) How can I print something on the front and back cover. It only lets me print on the front and the "back of the front" cover?

A:  ClickBook (CD Cover Creator) is designed to print a booklet. Place each picture on a different page. If you want to print the graphic as full page, make the picture the full width of the page in WordPad. You may need to turn off "Stretch to fit" in the ClickBook options.

ClickBook will let you know how/when to flip the paper over so that it prints on both sides of one (or more) pieces of paper.

If you want to print a booklet, then make the document with three or more pages. For example, you can put a cover on page 1, lyrics on page 2 and 3 and then another graphic on page 4. ClickBook will print this as a booklet by printing on two pieces of paper and then prompting you to flip over the pages and hit "Print second side."

When finished, you can cut out the pages and fold to create a booklet.

Q:  I just downloaded and installed the latest Windows XP Security updates, and now ClickBook 5.0 or 6.0 does not show the preview of the page and when printing it just prints blank pages.
A:  This problem has been caused by the a Windows Security Update.

There are a couple of ways that you can get ClickBook's functionality back.

1- You can remove the Windows Security updates from your computer. (Specifically Windows HotFix KB835732) This should allow ClickBook to function the way that it was before the update was installed. (Not Recommended)

2- You can upgrade to ClickBook 10.0. This is not a problem in ClickBook 9.0.

The upgrade price is currently only $19.96.

You can upgrade by contacting our sales department at 1-800-403-0925 or sales@bluesquirrel.com.
